VW 2.0 Valve Job

VW 2.0 SOHC 8V cylinder head repair and Valve Job.  Fits various models- Golf, Passat, Beetle, Jetta, etc.

This head had lots of cracks that needed repair, so we hot tanked and magnafluxed it first thing.

Basic Valve Job: Grind valves, Cut valve seats, Resurface, Clean, Paint, and assemble.

Extra’s available, if needed- crack repair, install new valve seats, install new guides, new valves and springs.

All the cracks were fixed and we moved on to resurfacing, grinding the valves and cutting new seats.
Resurfacing blended in the crack repair into a nice smooth finish.

Painted and prepped, a final cleaning and off to valve train assembly.  This machine presses in the springs.

 

Completed valve job, ready to bolt on.  Cylinder head repair can bring new life to your cylinder head.  Depending on where the crack is and how deep it is, it may be possible to repair it.  If not, we also have New and Remanufactured cylinder heads available.
