Hi! The engine rebuild on this page looks great — cool page. Thank you. I’m back here in Indianapolis and own a ’63 Thunderbird, in similar shape to the engine you show here, and I’m curious how much a rebuilt 390 — like the one on this page, after rebuild — could sell for on its own. Mine has only 62,000 miles on it, but I’m trying to get a sense of how much it could sell for if it were brought to the same condition as yours here.
Thanks! Sorry I’m not in California, or else I might bring the car to you folks!

i have a 66 390 fe motor at least thats what the guy told me when i bought it. that was a year ago i put it in my 73 f250. it was just rebuilt and ran good but a couple weeks ago i noticed water coming out of exhaust manifold on passenger side. not good right and theres water in oil it still runs but not driving it. do u think its head gasket or cracked block and can u fix it.if so how much will it cost a ballpark figure i know you have to tear down to see whats really wrong thank you
