Triumph Mk 2 Straight-6 Block work and Valve Job/ Cylinder Head Repair.
These Triumph classics were produced between 1963 and 1977 by the Triumph Motor Company.
Instead of a complete rebuild, this one came in for Machine services on the engine block and cylinder head.
Some before shots for comparison. Engine block before we Bore and Hone. Crankshaft and Camshaft before we Grind and Polish. I didn’t catch the cylinder head before we hot tanked it and disassembled it. But, I got a shot before we started work on it.

Bore and Hone breathes new life into the cylinders.
We are not doing the assembly on this Triumph engine, but it’s ready for some pistons. They should slid right in.
Customer wants to paint it himself, otherwise we would have put a nice coat of paint on it.
Triumph Cylinder Head Repairs
A basic valve job includes; Grind valves, Cut seats, Resurface, Clean, Paint, and Assemble.
This head needed some new seats installed. We also put in new guides.
The cylinder head repairs are complete and the head is assembled.

The crankshaft and camshaft were reground and polished. They are hiding behind the cylinder head.
