Car manufactures bringing back the classics!
Classic muscle cars still draw a crowd. Rightly so, I can drool over a classic beauty any day.
The new classic inspired body styles, with updated curves with aerodynamics and lighter body weights, are turning heads. Fiberglass is a miraculous invention. When I was younger, is was the distinct squeak from the heavy door you had to slam shut, everytime I hear it, it brings back memories. Cars were built heftier back in the day, I think safer, but I appreciate the new models that have been rolling out.
I parked next to this black beauty a few months ago. Still looks tough. I’m not sure how anyone can see out of the blacked out windows these days. Older cars never seemed to have such dark windows. Not long ago, I got a ticket for having too much tint on my windows. It was a “fix it” ticket, they were way lighter than these windows. Just an unlucky day I guess.
Here is a classic Camaro, one of my all time favorites. I think a re-release with this body style would fly off the shelves. Not everyone is looking for an economical aerodynamic car for fuel efficiency. I had a 66 Mustang when I was a kid, it felt aerodynamic to me. I flew down the road in that thing.
We rebuild many of these older model engines. I’m sure in a few years the new ones will come our way. I know they will, I see how the owners speed them around town. Pedal to the metal.
Recently, I’m really partial to the new Dodge Challengers. Something about the way they look draws me in.
I think it’s the grill and headlights. It has that huffing and puffing feel to it.
This is the new 2013 Dodge Challenger.
Because it look so cool, here is another one.
