High Output version of the 4.7L Power Tech engine from a Jeep Cherokee Overland 16V SOHC V8.
This model is also in a 00-04 Dodge Dakota, 00-03 Dodge Durango, Dodge Ram 1500, and Mitsubishi Raider.
The distinctive HO is a dead give away with this engine, it’s marked on the cylinder heads.
Jeep 4.7 HO Engine Rebuild Agenda: Teardown, Inspection, and Hot tank clean and scrub.
Machine Services- Bore and Hone engine block, Grind and Polish Crank and Cam, Valve Job on cylinder heads.
Rebuild Long Block with a DNJ engine rebuild kit. New Pistons, rings, engine bearings, oil pump, complete gasket set, freeze plugs, thrust washers, and timing kit.
Make sure you select the proper Rod Bearing, they come With and Without Locating Tang.

Do you service the vehicles? Meaning will you swap the heads or do a motor swap installing the remanufactured long block? Can you provide a quote for the labor of the heads (separate from price listed above for the heads)?

I need heads for my 2003 Jeep 4.7 HO. I would like an estimate for them. I would also like a quote to rebuild the entire engine. I live in Deming, NM and have a fork lift. If necessary, I have a set of heads that I can send for rebuilding, if necessary, but I took them to a machine shop and he had quoted me $600 worst case scenario, but later said that it would be $900 and that for that price that I should buy new ones. I also have a 2003 Acura 3.2 TL type S that needs a rear head, got any of those?

Hi, I have a jeep grand Cherokee overland 4.7 HO engine VIN J 2003 and a right hand drive. Can you please quote me for complete cylinder heads L/H and R/H with new valves, rocker arms, hydraulic lifters and seals and perfomance cams assembled. My residential address is as follows: 6Nicole Street, Morayfield Queensland 4506 Bribane Australia. Can you also provide me with a seperate quote complete gasket kit, timing chain and tensioner set.
