Remanufactured Ford 200 Straight-6 Engine

Straight 6 Ford 200 Engine Rebuild.

Classic Ford 200 engine ready for a complete rebuild.
Model: 1965 Ford Mustang 200 3.3L Straight-6 OHV 12V
7 Main Cap with 5 freeze plugs

We begin with an Inspection, Teardown, and Cleaning.
Block Work: Bore, Hone, and Deck the engine block.
Head Work: Valve Job includes Resurface, Grind valves, Cut 3-angle valve seats, New Exhaust guides and valve stem seals.  Clean, paint, and assemble.  Any missing, damaged, or broken parts will be replaced.
Machine Work- Recondition Crankshaft, Camshaft, and Connecting Rods.

Order New Engine Rebuild Kit in correct sizes.
Last step, assembly!

MACHINE SERVICES

FORD 200 VALVE JOB

Includes: Resurface to flat surface to mate up with the block. Grind valves, Cut 3-angle valve seats, Lap valves, Install new exhaust guides, install new valve stem seals, clean, paint, and assemble.

BLOCK WORK

Remanufacturing the engine block takes a few steps. Bore and Hone the cylinders leaving a good finish with proper crosshatch.  Clean in hot tank to remove any particulates.  Deck the block surface so the head mates up nicely.  Last we put a coat of primer, then a few coats of paint.

ASSEMBLY

Pistons, Rings, Bearings, Gaskets, Freeze plugs, Timing Set, and Oil pump have been ordered and delivered. Block work is completed.  Valve Job is in progress. Connecting Rods, Crank and Cam reconditioning is finished.  Looks like we are ready to start building the Short Block.

    I have an original 200 cid 6 cylinder in a1966, mustang. It is stock and I’m looking at rebuilding it. I’m on the East coast so it wouldn’t be effective for me to send to you. I am getting some quotes that I think are kind of high. Can you give me a ball park on what a complete rebuild, like your describe in your post would cost for comparison?
